25-year-old teacher faces sex offense charge in Florida

Imagine being a young teacher, only a few years older than the students you're teaching. Now, put yourself in a position where you're being accused of committing sexual acts with a student that wasn't 18 yet. That's the position this woman has found herself in, and now she needs to defend herself against the charges to protect her job and her future.

The woman from Florida has been accused of having sexual encounters with a student before his 18th birthday. The 25-year-old teacher who works at Anclote High School has been arrested and accused of sexual activity with a student. She has been booked into the Pasco County Jail.

According to a probable cause affidavit, she had messaged the student on Facebook and gave him her phone number. The message asked the teen to call her. The two then allegedly met at Sims Park in New Port Richey where they met and have a sexual encounter that was not described. It's alleged that several other meetings also took place.

The teacher was 24 at the time of the activity, according to the report. Thus far, all police have noted is that they have proof that the phone number was hers. They have access to some correspondence, although the police have not said what that is. The school did not report if it had taken any action against the teacher in the case.

If you find yourself in this kind of situation, make sure to defend yourself immediately. You don't want to face being on a sex offender registration or going to jail over a misunderstanding.
